So there are racist people who are now trying to make things really tough for the street vendors and the elote man right now. And I’m kind of torn because I don’t support or think that racist people should be driving all over Southern California, Arizona, Texas and New Mexico trying to find Brown skin street vendors just to demand to see their business licenses and their food resell permits.
But I do believe if you sell food you have to have some sort of permit. So this is another instance where I hate that I am on the side of these racist pieces of trash. I have to have a business license. I have to have a resell permit and I have to file my taxes in order to make money to feed my family and yes my family is my cat but that’s just because I practice good family planning.
So why do illegal aliens who snuck into the country or were smuggled into the country get special treatment and not have to have these permits when I as an American have to have these same permits? Let me be clear I hate that they are approached by racist people who are only really concerned with them being in the country because of their heritage skin color and country of origin. Obviously I’m not OK with that and I would never go up to one of these people and demand to see their food permit because I don’t want to be lumped into the category of these racists. But it sucks To watch Fox News and hear them say “people who support illegal immigration support lawlessness, no borders and weak law enforcement.” Then literally see when it comes to this issue that that is the truth.
The only reason I’m posting about this is because I got flamed on tiktok for leaving a comment about how if someone is going to sell food they should have to be registered with the local government or appropriate agency. Dozens of people said I was wrong. Should anyone be able to sell food to the public with no oversight and no licensure? You all are smart people and you know what the answer is.
