Arizona Bike Ads will employ enough people for two full-time routes. These 80 hours of strenuous labor will be paid out at $20 per hour plus benefits. We may have more than 5 on-call cyclists and two on-call administrative. I think we can auction off both sides of the banners for $400 per client per side. At two clients per printed side panel, we will collect $800 for each side. This $1600 revenue per run will justify 20 runs within a 40-hour minimum. $100 for two signs. $20 for the install.

It’s hot and our riders will only ride 2-4 hours at a time before coming into the office for a break. After the campaign, the clients can keep the panels as signage. This could easily be a lead funnel to a serious signage company. The salary for riders is $20 dollars per hour. This $800 dollars per 40-hour minimum means in order to make enough money for the other necessary admin jobs, sales needs to have at least 4 riders working full time per week. This is 8 new clients or recurring clients per week. 4 minimum runs x $1600 = $6400 per week. Liability insurance for the year from Statefarm underwriter is $600 for the year. Here is the breakdown of operations.
Admin 1 @ $16 per hour
Sales 1 @ $18 per hour plus $50 bonus per client sign up.
Cyclist 1 Cyclist 2 Cyclist 3 Cyclist 4 @ $20 per hour.
Technician 1 @ $20 per hour.
Money In Per Week – $6400
Money Out Per Week – $4000(4 cyclists, 1 technician)+$640(1 admin)+$1120(sales)+$200(maintenance parts)+$400(signs)
Eventually, we will make this small business a reality. Just need to save the money for the bicycle frames which cost about $1000 apiece for bike and frame.
